What do you most enjoy about what you do?

People! People are great! The best thing about being a hairdresser is having my own salon where people can come and get their hair done, and leave feeling special. I love listening to what's going on in people's lives. Many of my clients are now my friends and it's so satisfying to not only be their trusted hairdresser, but to also celebrate the good times and help people through the not so good times. I'm very proud of the salon and lucky to work with some amazing people - I feel like the luckiest girl in the world!

What do you get up to outside of the salon?

I love music and have been singing from a young age. I can often be found singing in bars, restaurants and at festivals, weddings & parties. I perform at York's top charity events including 'A Night to Remember' and Forever Young, and also enjoy going to gigs. I enjoy looking after my beautiful dog Winston and love spending time with family, friends and my gorgeous boyfriend. I like holidays, theatre and have been known to enjoy a glass of Champagne or two!
